Accountant - Semi Senior or Senior 

Location: Belper, Derbyshire 
Hours: Full Time
Salary: circa £28,000 - £35,000 

An independent practice in Belper is now looking for an experienced Accountant to join the team. They are happy to consider different levels of experience - happy to accommodate either a Semi Senior or a Senior. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience, and be competent in preparing and producing Accounts, Bookkeeping for a number of clients, VAT, tax returns and more. 

In summary: 
  • Independent practice, established for over 20 years 
  • Portfolio of clients from many different sectors 
  • Working on Individual accounts, Partnerships, SMEs etc.  
  • Chartered with ACA/ACCA 
The ideal candidate: 
  • 2+ years of general practice experience for a Semi Senior position 
  • 4+ years of general practice experience for a Senior position, and qualified (ACA/ACCA) 
  • AAT 2/3 qualified, and possibly currently studying AAT 4, or moving onto chartered exams 
  • Local to Belper and happy to travel within the region on occasion 
The salary on offer is approximately £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and study support.
