Accounts Assistant or Semi Senior Accountant

Location: Telford, Shropshire 
Schedule: Full Time or Part Time considered 
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 depending on experience (Full Time) 

Description: An independent practice in the Telford area, is looking for either a full time or part time Accounts Assistant, or Semi Senior Accountant. 

The practice has just one office, and they would like someone who lives in the Telford area, to work on site. It is to work within a small team, assisting with general accounts admin, bookkeeping, VAT returns, helping clients with simple queries. 

At the Semi Senior level, you will also be producing sets of Accounts with the supervision of the senior team. There will also be an element of assisting the Senior Accountants with their daily duties, and learning how to work more independently.

You will work with a mix of different clients in different industries. 

The practice is looking for someone who is at least AAT qualified (level 3/4), and potentially has also started ACCA exams. A degree in Accountancy and Finance would be beneficial. 

You must already have some experience of working within a practice, ideally more than 2 years.
