Company Overview: A fairly new practice in Wolverhampton are looking for an Accounts Senior to help their expanding team. The practice was established a few years ago and has experienced rapid growth to its client portfolio, with their Accounts team now looking after around 700 clients.
They work with sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships across a range of different industries, and operate from a premises in a residential area south of the city centre. There is free parking on site and they can accommodate a hybrid work model & flexi time.
You will be joining a team of around 6 employees including two Directors who are incredibly dedicated to the success and growth of the business. The role is perfect for an Accounts Senior who is looking for a small and friendly team who work hard when in the office, to earn a good work life balance.
The duties of the role:
- Working closely with the Directors and the rest of the Accounts team to produce Accounts for a portfolio of clients
- Assisting the more junior staff, and delegating tasks to them
- Working with minimal intervention, preparing from start to finish, and helping review the work of colleagues
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, answering queries, liaising with HMRC etc.
- Continuing studies if you have the final part of ACCA/ACA to do
The ideal candidate:
- An Accounts Senior working in a practice currently
- 4+ years in practice
- Experience from all client sectors welcome
- Qualified with ACA or ACCA, or nearly finished (Part Qualified)
- Local to Wolverhampton

- Full time role in Wolverhampton
- Salary circa £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and exam progress so far
