Audit and Advisory Senior Executive
Location: York, YO19
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Role overview
Working within the Audit and Advisory Team, as a Senior Accounts Executive, you will be a key member of our Team. Your typical daily duties with include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the delivery of audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Ensuring audits are conducted in accordance with relevant auditing standards
- Preparation of financial statements for the businesses serviced by the department
- VAT compliance work and preparation of management accounts
- Supervision and mentoring of junior staff, providing training, guidance and feedback
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice and insights
Person Specification
A strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards. Previous experience conducting financial audits and preparing financial statements. A professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) is desirable, part qualified individuals will be considered. You will demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting as well as good communication skills.
