My client, a leading Independent Chartered Accountancy firm in the North-West is looking to strengthen its Audit team with the addition of an Audit Senior.
Job Summary
- Planning, performing audit testing, and completing external audits of small and medium sized companies and charities
- Training, supervising, and reviewing the work of assistants
- Supporting and reporting to the manager
- Preparation of financial statements for charities, and small and medium sized companies as part of the audit engagement
- Preparation of corporation tax calculations
Desired skills
- At least 12 - 24 months’ experience in a similar role
- ACA or ACCA qualified (part-qualified may be considered)
- Strong communication skills and confident in speaking to clients, managers, and assistants.
- Experience in using CCH Accounts Production and Audit Automation, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential, as full training will be given)
- Attention to detail, and technical ability
- A desire to learn and develop skills
- Experience of working on clients of varying sizes across a broad range of sectors.
- Varied range of work types
- In-house training on all aspects of the work provided
- Flexible hybrid working. This is to be agreed between manager and employee, to the benefit of both, depending on training requirements and employee preference.
- Salary dependent on experience
