Audit Semi-Senior/Senior

My client, a leading Independent Chartered Accountancy firm in the North-West is looking to strengthen its Audit team with the addition of an Audit Senior. 

Job Summary
  • Planning, performing audit testing, and completing external audits of small and medium sized companies and charities
  • Training, supervising, and reviewing the work of assistants
  • Supporting and reporting to the manager
  • Preparation of financial statements for charities, and small and medium sized companies as part of the audit engagement
  • Preparation of corporation tax calculations

Desired skills
  • At least 12 - 24 months’ experience in a similar role
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (part-qualified may be considered)
  • Strong communication skills and confident in speaking to clients, managers, and assistants.
  • Experience in using CCH Accounts Production and Audit Automation, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential, as full training will be given)
  • Attention to detail, and technical ability
  • A desire to learn and develop skills
