Audit Senior

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands (with some UK travel)
Salary: Circa £43,000 


A leading national Accountancy firm is looking for an Audit Senior to join their West Midlands team. This is a great opportunity to work across a varied client base including corporates, non-profits, and pensions, while progressing within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit assignments from planning to completion.
  • Act as day-to-day contact for clients.
  • Supervise and coach junior team members.
  • Prepare audit findings and identify areas for client improvement.
  • Ensure audit quality and compliance with risk protocols.
  • Support business development and contribute to wider firm initiatives
     
Ideal candidate: 
  • 4ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
  • Solid audit experience (UK GAAP knowledge preferred).
  • Sector exposure to corporates, plus with pensions, and non-profits is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Excel, and Caseware experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-first approach.
  • Willingness to travel as required (ideally with own car)
