Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
An independent practice in the Kingswinford area of Dudley is looking for a confident Bookkeeper to join the team. The practice is a single site which has parking on site, and you must be able to drive to the office.
The role is for a full time Bookkeeper who will cover the end to end VAT returns for a range of clients, and deal with incoming client queries.
Within the team, there is a mix of experience ranging from trainee accountants up to Partners. Their portfolios include SME clients from a range of different sectors.
The ideal candidate:
- Confident using Excel spreadsheets
- Competent using Sage Cloud, QuickBooks, Xero or other web-based accounting software
- Ideally AAT, qualified, however, qualified by experience candidates will be considered
- Accountancy Practice Experience essential
Main duties of the role:
- Inputting of Sales Invoices
- Inputting of Purchase Invoices
- Bank reconciliation
- Completion of quarterly VAT Returns
- Submitting VAT Returns
The role offers:
- A salary in the range of £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
