Senior Accountant
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Hours: Full time (part time also considered)
Salary: Dependant on experience
You will be AAT qualified as a minimum with 5+ years general accountancy practice experience though the role is anticipated to appeal to ACA & ACCA qualified individuals.
This is a varied role incorporating limited company accounts preparation work with corporation tax compliance through to partner review level on clients with up to £30m turnover. You will also be responsible for preparation of quarterly management accounts for a small portfolio of clients as well as assisting more junior members of staff with technical issues & FRS compliance & presentation. There is also the opportunity to be involved in the personal tax client portfolio.
An immediate start is available if required.
Candidates requiring part time working will also be considered for the role (minimum 25 hours per week) & a school hours working pattern could be accommodated.
The role will be based at the Halifax town centre premises with some onsite work at clients premises in the local area.
A good working knowledge of IRIS accounts production and Sage Line50 software is preferred, along with a good level of IT literacy.
