Salary: £38k - £50k (dependant on experience and qualifications
An independent practice based in the outskirts of York is looking for a fully qualified senior accountant to join their Accounts team.
Ideally they are looking for someone who holds either the ACA or ACCA qualification and have 3-4 years post qualification experience. The successful candidate should also have experience in leading and training junior members of staff which will include reviewing the initial drafts of their work.
Other experience and duties will include:
- Accounts preparation and filing for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Production and submission of Personal and Corporate Tax returns
- Some bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
- Management account production
