Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (potential to go above depending on experience)
Our client is a small, local practice who are looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their team in Brighouse. They operate as a close-knit team with an open door policy to their clients where they can come in for any advise or just a chat if they like!
As a Senior Accountant your role would involve the following:
- Manage and service a portfolio of clients
- Review limited company, sole trader and partnership accounts
- Review corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns
- Carry out accounts and tax return sign off meetings with clients
- Develop strong relationships with client and hold client meetings
- Increase the size of portfolio by taking on new clients
- Assist in guiding and developing trainees within the business when necessary
The ideal candidate will be ACCA qualified (ACA/ CTA would also be accepted) with experience in a client facing Practice position and managing a portfolio.
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week 9am - 5pm with a 30 minute lunch. They do work to a flexi-time system around the core hours of 10am and 3pm. Due to the nature of how the business operates this would be an office based role however could accommodate some home working if the situation is required.
